Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. By using this website, you agree to them.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of floridahealthresources.com (the "Site") operated by Scott Black, a Florida-licensed insurance agent doing business as Florida Health Resources. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

The Site and its services are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older and eligible or approaching eligibility for Medicare. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Educational Purpose; Not Insurance Advice

Content on this Site is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for personalized advice from a licensed insurance agent, health-care professional, tax advisor, or attorney. Nothing on this Site constitutes an offer, solicitation, or contract of insurance. You must apply for coverage through the issuing carrier, and coverage is subject to the carrier's approval and the terms of the applicable policy or contract.

4. No Insurance Contract

Reviewing information on this Site, requesting a quote, or scheduling a consultation does not create an insurance contract, does not bind coverage, and does not obligate you to purchase any plan. All enrollments occur through official plan applications submitted to the issuing carrier and are subject to the terms of the applicable Medicare or supplemental insurance plan.

5. Accuracy of Information

We work to keep information on the Site accurate and current. However, Medicare rules, plan benefits, premiums, deductibles, copayments, provider networks, and prescription drug formularies change frequently, sometimes without notice. Always confirm current details with the applicable carrier or Medicare.gov before making any decision. Florida Health Resources is not responsible for reliance on information that has since changed.

6. Third-Party Content and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including Medicare.gov and insurance carrier portals. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party sites.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, downloadable materials, and code — is owned by or licensed to Florida Health Resources and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Educational and personal use is permitted. Commercial reuse, republication, or reproduction requires prior written permission.

8. User Submissions

By submitting information through Site forms (name, contact information, questions, RSVP details, etc.), you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the authority to provide it. Do not submit information that is confidential, proprietary to a third party, or unlawful.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, other user accounts, or connected systems; (c) upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code; (d) scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content; (e) use the Site to send unsolicited communications; or (f) impersonate any person or entity.

10. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLORIDA HEALTH RESOURCES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FLORIDA HEALTH RESOURCES OR SCOTT BLACK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Florida Health Resources, Scott Black, and their respective agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
