What to bring
- Your Medicare card (or the enrollment letter Social Security sent you).
- A list of every prescription with the exact name, dose, and frequency.
- A list of your doctors, specialists, and preferred hospital or clinic.
- Your home zip code — plan availability changes by county.
- A rough sense of how many months a year you spend outside Florida.
- Any current insurance cards (employer, retiree, VA, TRICARE).
Questions worth writing down
- Are my doctors in this plan's network?
- Are all of my prescriptions on the formulary, and at what tier?
- What is my expected total cost for a normal year?
- What happens if I have a hospitalization or a new specialist need?
- What's covered when I travel out of state?
